How to fill a Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) form

STP refers to Systematic Transfer Plan where you can invest a lump sum amount in one scheme and regularly transfer a pre-defined amount into another scheme.

Here's an example where this can be useful: An investor has a lump-sum amount to invest in equities, but does not want to time the market. In such a case, the investor can invest the lump-sum amount in a liquid fund and instruct the AMC to transfer a fixed amount every month into an equity scheme. This presentation outlines how to fill an STP form.
P.S. If you are comfortable with investing in Mutual Funds online, then STP method of investing can also be used very easily.

The presentation below might take some time to load... It will be worth the wait ;)
